1. Where do you serve and do you charge a travel fee?
I serve Tacoma, University Place, Lakewood, and Puyallup, plus King, Thurston & Kitsap counties. A modest travel fee may apply for extended distances and is waived on packages over $100. If you’re unsure about your address, just ask!
2. How should I prepare for an in-home appointment?
Please clear a small table or counter and ensure a nearby outlet. I bring linens, products, and tools. Good lighting helps. For facials, arrive with a clean face if possible. For waxing, hair growth should be at least ¼ inch (about 2–3 weeks). Pets are welcome to relax in another room during services.
3. How far in advance should I book and how long do services take?
Weekdays typically book 1–2 days in advance; weekends about a week. Timing: Express Facial ~30 min, Signature ~60 min, Deluxe ~90 min. Brazilian waxes are usually 20–30 min depending on hair type and area.
4. What about hygiene, skin sensitivity, and aftercare?
Tools are disinfected/sterilized or single-use, hands sanitized, and state health standards followed. Sensitive skin? I tailor products to your needs and can patch-test on request. After facials: hydrate and wear SPF; avoid heat/saunas for 24h. After waxing: avoid tight clothing, workouts, and hot showers for 24h; exfoliate gently after 48–72h.
5. What is your cancellation policy and which payments do you accept?
Please provide 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling; same-day cancellations may incur a fee. I accept cash, major cards, and popular payment apps. Minors require a parent/guardian present and written consent for services.
